I got thrown out of Six Flags Over Texas this weekend

But it was worth it.

I went to the park with a friend and her boyfriend. We had been there about 2 hours when the BF told my friend to go get him a bottle of water. When she said that she was tired and wanted to rest, he SPIT on her.

Well, I lost it. I had a reflex reaction and knocked the shit out of this guy. They have been together 7 years and he has never had a job. He lives in her house and sits on the couch all day. I already didn’t care for the guy because of that, but when he spit on her, I couldn’t take it and clocked him in the jaw. Security showed up and escorted me out of the park about the time I was standing over him explaining that if I EVER saw him do anything like that again he would be eating through a freakin’ straw.

So my friend and I left the park (leaving her BF), went home, and proceeded to get snot slingin’ drunk. She thanked me for standing up for her and said no one had ever done that before.

After it was all over I felt guilty for about 2 seconds while I thought about the BF being about 5’9" and around 130lbs. while I am 6’3" and weigh in around 225lbs. The guilt quickly subsided. I think I was right to do what I did. I would have stood up for any woman that I saw a man spit on.

The really good news is that when the BF made it home (not sure how he got there) he said that he would break up with her if she didn’t stop hanging out with me…They are now broken up. She can do much better.

Violence bad. But given the same situation, I wonder if I wouldn’t have done the same.

Your heart is in the right place. Thank goodness she’s not with him anymore.

Dude, you completely rock. What’s more, you broke the chain - she was being controlled and didn’t know how to stop it. Sounds like you done good.

Yeah, screw that guy. If he’s been giving her a bad time for seven years, it really was worth it.

Good for you! Now if she can (a) keep the guy gone and (b) not find another one to take his place…

Awesome job dude! I sure hope they don’t get back together. Sounds like she could do so much better. Thank God she has a friend like you!

I hope to be at the front of what will undoubtably be a very long line of guys wishing to go out with her. I would really like to show her how a woman is supposed to be treated.

Whoo-Hoo. You go for it. Just tell all them other guys that the line starts here (while you point at yourself) and they will just have to take a number.

Take her back sometime just so she’ll have positive memories of the place. Maybe y’all could even share a Pink Thing.

Great job, Dude.

About the ONLY thing you could possibly feel guilty about is not stomping his scrawny ass sooner.

I’m not sure what you are referring to, but regardless it sounds positive.

Some people just need a good kick in the ass (or punch in the face). Good job!

Don’t tell me they no longer have the pink sherberty dessert on a plastic stick anymore. That used to be half the SFOT experience.

Yeah, that’s what I was referring to. Uh huh.

I just got off the phone with her and I now have a date tomorrow night.

It was weird because I am 29, divorced and have an 8 year old son…but I have Never asked out a woman before. Fear of rejection and all.

It’s pretty cool that the first woman I ever asked out was her and I wasn’t rejected. Maybe I have been stressing all these years over nothing.

Wish me luck on the date.

…he spit on her.

So you cleaned his clock.

Hard to blame you.

I’m glad she didn’t immediately drop to her knees and cradle his poor wittle head and call you every name in the book, though. Women who are attached to jerks sometimes do weird things.

Hope he doesn’t file assault charges…but I would have done the same.
Best of luck on your date. I am sure you will do fine!

Hey, way to go! If she was with the loser for that long, it sounds like she was stuck in an unhealthy caretaking mode. Women have this bad habit of convincing themselves that their SOs are not all that bad, and justifying totally unacceptable behavior. Sometimes all it takes is a good shock to knock someone out of this mode and make them realize that the behavior they had convinced themselves was acceptable is completely out of line from a normal person’s point of view (I speak from experience). It sounds like you gave her that when you cleaned his clock. I repeat: Good for you!

Yeah, spitting is so juvenile. These days we hit women in the face just like we would anybody.

Qazzz, several of your posts today have had a disturbing, anti-female stench to them.

You’re joking, right? Even so, it’s not amusing in the slightest.

Does nobody appreciate dark humor anymore? Of course I’m joking. About the hitting of anybody, however; not just females. Acts of machismo can be almost as disappointing as acts of cowardice, IMHO.
