Those two am threads are not usually a good idea! I’ve always said, if you want some true heartfelt confessions out of me, keep me up until 2 or 3 am and then ask me - I usually am in just the right mood to spill my heart, even without any alcohol.

Use the Mitch Hedberg method. In your case substitute interesting for funny

When I think of something that’s funny, I go get a pen and I write it down. Or if the pen’s too far away, I have to convince myself that what I thought of ain’t funny.
