I was laying in bed last night, or maybe it was this morning, and I thought of at least 2 or 3 great threads to post on the SDMB. Now, I can’t for the life of me remember what they were! So y’all are getting this one instead. So sorry.

I’m guessing that our ideas were so earth shattering that futuristic time travelers journeyed here from 3673 to nip their huge problem in the bud.
Looks like we were both mind-edited in our sleep.

Unlikely. It’s all been done before. 
I often have my best ideas right before falling asleep, only to find out in the morning that all I have left of them is a vague memory that they may have once existed. But if they were such great ideas, wouldn’t I remember them? Probably just sleepy drowsy Drew thinking he’s the shit and his ideas are brilliant. But then again, if I actually could remember my pre-sleep ideas, maybe I would change the world!
Change the world…?.. You can’t even change a spare tire. 
I remember the old joke:
A guy keeps having dreams about wonderful new ideas, which all fade away as soon as he wakes up. So one day he has an inspiration: He puts a pad and pencil next to his bed, and when he has a dream, he’ll write it down. He goes to bed, confident and happy.
The next morning, there it is, written neatly on the pad:
Write it down!
Too bad. I had a few great replies that I had in mind to reply to those topics, too. But in having to wait so long for you to make them, I, too, have forgotten them by now.

You could make a thread about what it’s like to be a literate chicken. How do you type with all those feathers in the way?

No sex to be had when I’m out on the boat, I promise! But yeah, how WOULD you type with all those feathers and no fingers? I guess pecking away with your beak. In fact, I feel I have seen that before.
