(get yer mind outta the gutter, it ain’t THAT kinda dream)
Ok,
I woke up in this apocalyptic, alien invaded world.
I looked at the lil’wrekker and said we gotta get out of here. I grab my igloo cooler (in dystopia if you have diabetes you need an igloo) and off we go. Running and running. Dang, I’m tired of running, even in a dream.
We see a guy on a motorcycle. He’s a cool guy with long hair and a cool red bike. So, yeah, I hop on. Put on a helmet (safety first) and off we zoom. I realize the guy is naked except for the helmet and boots. He takes me to this mansion. You know a Gone with the Wind type place. (I assume the lil’wrekker caught a ride, too). He leaves. We go in this mansion. The occupants are like really ugly. Planet of the Apes ugly. It’s a Gone with the Wind/Planet of the Apes mash up.
They are dressed in antebellum clothing.
(I’m getting to the @Cecil_Adams part, hold yer horses)
The older ape-ugly Lady of the house is directing people to different rooms. I determined they are not the bad guys but are brainwashed by the bad aliens.
The bad aliens are hungry and humans are on the menu. (Bad Hollywood, the extras are costing too much, eating too much catering, so they must be eliminated)
Everyone starts running and hiding. Screaming and gnashing of teeth are heard. The bad aliens really like to eat young cute girls first (there were a few, lost their job in a soap or couldn’t get a commercial job🤔) They go first.
Me and the lil’wrekker make our way to the top floor of the mansion. Go in an empty room with a big window. There’s a tree out there. She decided we gotta climb down this tree to the ground. I’m thinking why didn’t we just run out the door we came in. No matter we’re up here now and have acquired a dog.
Ok. So we tie a rope around the dog. Go out in the branches of this tree. If the dog drops I guess it will hang itself. I’m kinda wanting that option myself, at this point. We get down some how. Me, her, dog, igloo and she has a big weapon of some kind. And the rope.
You sure accumulate alot of crap in the apocalypse. We need a vehicle.
No one’s chasing us so we stroll along.
Lo, and behold here comes motorcycle guy again. I hop on. Hanging on to the dog and the igloo.
I tell him about what was in the mansion. He wasn’t surprised.
We come up on a clearing and there’s a car. The lil’wrekker is already in it. Waiting on me. I ask the guy where we were and he says there’s a big prison up there. Lots of bad guys. And intellectuals who have been rounded up. There’s this one guy in there who can fix this whole mess if he can be talked into it. (We’re close, folks)
We drive to the back side of the place. There’s an unlocked gate. Kinda dumb I thought. Bad guys and all. But, oh well. We stopped the car and walk in.
There’s a prison yard. Guys walking in a circle (old Hollywood again, dang must’ve been a shortage of extras in the rest of L.A.)
Two guys are sitting on a concrete ledge. The Adam guy from that show where they blow up pigs and houses and do experiments on stuff and Cecil.
Ok, I know my part. I gotta get him to fix this shit. I’m tired of running.
I sat down by Cecil. I open the igloo and get a red solo cup, coke and ice. You know that half moon ice maker ice, I really hate that stuff. Melts too fast. But he and Adams appreciate the coke.
I start yakking. He seems non-committal at best. I keep talking.
The walking inmates are getting restless. Adam decided he has to go in for something. I ask him to refill the igloo with ice. Of course he will. He seems to know what he’s doing. Cecil asks if I have any snacks. I have some protein bars and suckers. He takes a sucker.
Adam comes out and gives me the cooler.
As the rest of the inmates start fighting the lil’wrekker says we gotta leave this place. I ask Cecil one last time if maybe he could reset the world. The lil’wrekker shouts “let’s get to the car, I left it running!”
Cecil says “You gotta a car?”
Him and Adam both stand up.
I just noticed they were both naked except for black socks and dress shoes.
Cecil says “Run!!”.
And…I woke up.
I hope I dream chapter 2 tonight
