I had my first SDMB dream!

Well, the first one that really counted.

I dreampt that SisterRiddles was posting to another forum, unbeknownst to moi, and that she was WAY more liked there than I was. And when I found out, I was pissed. Huh. Sibling rivalry, anyone?

My good sweet Mosas. I need to get a life, if THIS is what my subconcious does with its spare time…

Hmmmm, interesting. I had a SDMB dream the other day myself. I dreamt a dog kept biting me everytime I tried to hit “Submit Reply” in the BBQ Pit. Very strange. I wonder whose dog it was?

For what it’s worth, I was hoping for a lot more touching and naked people. Now get back to sleep and work on a dream that has those kinds of things in it.

OK, folks, be honest. How many of you (us) opened this thread wondering if SwimmingRiddles was going to have posted that she had a dream about you?

(And by the way, Swimmer, why the heck isn’t it me in all of your waking and sleeping thoughts? Maybe I will post to that other board and say I like SisterRiddles better than you.)

Hmmmmm, One does wonder what how Freud would interpret that dream…“You have your sister, because she is competition with you for the love of your father, and because she reminds you of your mother, whom you hate.”

Actually, Billdo, in the dream, SisterRiddles mentioned the name “John Corrado” and I said “Hey, there’s someone on my message board with that name!” and that’s how I found out she was more adored then myself.

No idea why John’s name came up, though. Other than I think he was in the last batch of Canonizations I cooked up for the Saint thread.

Eh, Narile: Freud was a cokehead with a sexual compulsion. And I adore my mom, so there.

Next week in group therepy: Swiddle’s fear of heights.

Whoa.

Can I run around now telling people that I’m the man of Swimming Riddles’ dreams?

I’m flattered. Okay, I realize my name coming up as an aside during a dream is little more than subconcious vomiting, but subconciously I’m flattered too.

And I definitely adore you far more than I adore your sister, for whatever part of your sibling rivalry that might subdue.

I suppose, then, that this is the place for me to finally reveal to the world my undying love of SisterRiddles.

Even though she has never seen the board, much less posted here, and the first time that I heard of her was when Swimmy mentioned that they might be driving to New York together for last month’s gathering, and the only way that I know anything about her is from the Swimmer’s occasional offhand comments, I am utterly captivated by SisterRiddles charm, beauty, wit and grace. The way she moves, the way she breathes, even, simply entrance me. Just hearing her laugh or a momentary glance into her eyes is enough to keep me flying high for days, months, even years.

So, Swiddles, I’m afraid that, in my book at least, SisterRiddles is more adored than you are.

(Though I suppose I should say, in fairness, that you ain’t bad yourself, kiddo.)

Don’t worry Swimmingriddles, I shall always worship you over your sister.

Unless, a large bribe comes my way.

Maybe not even then, if you can hide me after the cash drop.

Well I wanted to be original and say, “Darn, I was hoping this was about me.”

But then everyone else said they thought it was about them, or some such comment.

I’m not even able to be the first to kiss up to SisterRiddles in hopes of getting your attention through jealousy. :frowning:

How about a bribe?

(That John Corrado is one lucky ****.)

I am throwing in my vote with several others in the camp that hope they write a post that captivates our beautiful and witty Swimming enough that it becomes inspiration for her next SDMB dream.
