Oohh, I vote banned!* Well, after we’ve used him enough for amusement purposes.
*Really, it’s just a matter of time. It’s not a question of if, it’s when. When will La Jerkitude, the trolling piece of shit, be banned?
I’m betting sometime in the next two weeks.
I’m still waiting for you to back up your boneheaded assertion that we’re not competing against China for manufacturing jobs. I’m still waiting for you to explain to us how knowledge based jobs won’t go the way of manufacturing.
You spout a ton of bullshit that you can’t back up, which is why your buddies here are so pissed at me. You and I both are working hard to make an idiot of you… but you’re doing a much better job of it. Not that I’m jealous or anything.
You know what, you can continue to play the “no you didn’t! yes I did! no you didn’t!” game, but all three of my kids outgrew that already and only one is old enough to approach pre-school.
Tell ya what dipshit. You’re going to lose your knowledge based job to some $1 an hour guy overseas and when it happens someone will tell you that “if you want to fight with some $1 an hour guy in another country then be my guest.” It’ll probably be some really rich trust fund baby who tells you that. Won’t that be a hoot.
In January, I get a email from Medicare explaining what tests I am eligible for this year. They explain what they are and why I should take them. If i stay healthy, they spend less money. They are interested in monitoring my health.
You believe like a blind righty that the government does not do anything right. you of course are wrong. Then you put your faith in companies who make money denying coverage. Corporations don’t think long term. You apparently do. you think like Reagan who made the same dishonest statement hoping people would be convinced. I pity those who believe because if they have faith in business, they will be sorely used and thoroughly abused. They are not looking out for you at all. that is not what corporations do.
Right wingers need to stop and take a look at the definition of a corporate charter. Its purpose is to generate money for the shareholders. By any means necessary… meaning that whatever is legal and profitable, they must do.
Corporations are like predatory animals; they don’t exist to benefit those who are not investors or owners. They feed on anything and everything around them that they can reach, and they take advantage of anything and everything.
Furthermore Corporations live by the quarterly statement, especially in America. They’ll sacrifice their long term survival for short term gains, because the investors that are there today might not even be there tomorrow. They’ll pump, chump and dump at will; such is the nature of investing.
It’s appalling that conservatives fail to understand these basic facts…
Wow, you are a veritable stew of mental problems and reading comprehension issues. Pre-school must have been the most frustrating 30 years of your life.
When I said it was confusing I was saying YOU GUYS ARE CONFUSED and you can’t keep your fucking story straight. One minute the ROBOTS ARE TAKING OVER, the next, it’s too expensive for them to do so.
Even when you come back with your Kabuki-like “automation becomes more attractive as the cost of labor increases” gyrations you still fall flat on your retarded face in light of the most OBVIOUS OF FACTS.
It’s a pity I cannot write this out for you in crayon, so get one of your “LJ is a doodoohead” buddies on here to team up with you to read this V E R Y S L O W L Y for comprehension’s sake:
Toyota builds cars here in the U.S. using higher-than-Chinese-priced American labor and their factories aren’t anything close to fully automated. Germany builds their cars in Germany (at least for the German market) despite their workers exacting higher-than-Chinese-priced German wages.
Which means that either you’re so full of shit your eyes are brown or American and German labor has a LONG way to go upwards in price before any significant level of automation ever becomes an attractive option. Which means you’re still full of shit.
Sadly, he could be, and is, that stupid. Shit for brains’ problem is that he’s so invested in his peculiar ideas, that he’s impervious to any facts that contradict them. I guess that “willfully ignorant” is a better descriptor than “stupid”.
If he were really just stupid, I’d fell bad about pointing and laughing. When someone is willfully ignorant, I think that’s about the only thing one can do short of just ignoring him.
I figured you’d throw this kind of temper tantrum.
So since you’re exiting this discussion now, I’ll leave it to others to answer whether any of the following is factually incorrect. Since you know it is not, and you look like an idiot for calling what I said stupid, you are excused from answering.
Toyota builds cars here in the U.S. Yes or no? Free hint
The wages of workers in United States based Toyota plants are higher than the wages of Chinese car factory workers. Yes or no? Free hint
Are Japanese Toyota factories in America close to full automation? Yea or nay?
Hint: See #1 and #2
Can anyone tell Dickless Jay what’s in Stuttgart Germany?
Clue: in Stuttgart, Germany, you’ll find several MORE reasons why Dickless Jay is a clueless fuckturd.
So… any of you quivering lilly livered snot nosed jachkoles wanna answer those, or are you done making total fucking idiots of yourselves?
Toyota DOES produce cars in factories on American soil. Paying wages FAR to the north of what Chinese factory workers earn. And they haven’t automated the hell out of their factories.
The same goes with Germany.
Your claim that “automation becomes more attractive as the cost of labor increases” is a clear and obvious example that you are brain dead stupid. Because obviously AMERICAN WAGES are not high enough for automation to become more attractive.
But since you’ve gotten your ass broken off and handed to you AGAIN - by your own hands no less - all you’ve got left is trash talk… and you trash talk like a sniveling boypussy to boot.
So in essence this is the Rick Jay/John Mace Kabuki dance:
If America tariffs offshoring to death then they’ll switch to automation.
But automation on the scale I’m talking about requires too much capital investment. Fuck.
Ok lemme rephrase that.
Automation becomes more attractive as the cost of labor increases.
Oh shit, Japan would rather pay American workers wages that sometimes exceed UNITED AUTO WORKERS WAGES?!!! than automate?!!!
Dude, it’s a variation of the old joke about “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you.”
Did they do something right in your case? Apparently so, but even blind hogs find occasional acorns. The government’s track record does not lend itself to encouragement.
