akennett, your plan has a flaw. So there’s a flood. That takes care of the land based, but what’s left? The idle rich on their yachts, commercial fishermen and sailors, the collective navies of the world, and half of Jimmy Buffett’s fan base.

2trew, how about a nuclear war? I’d find it interesting to watch the explosions, etc. At least that way the survival would be more random - and the mutating effects would be rather interesting…
