I hate salsa

I detest onions, peppers and chunks of tomato wether in salsa or a salad or anywhere.

More for me, then

Asshole. Your sisters too.

What salsa goes best with brains?

Mango and ghost pepper.

I can see why. Just the other day I was talking to some onions, peppers and chunks of tomato and they were bad-mouthing you something fierce.

Apparently there’s some bad blood. Care to explain? Because unless you can, these ingredients have a lot of friends around here that you don’t want to piss off.

You certainly wouldn’t want Avocados after your shit, nosirree Bob!.

This thread is 18 years old, and was lame even back then.

This thread was started exactly four days after my join date. So after 18 years I can finally muster up the courage to say I am not the biggest fan of salsa either.

Well played.

I hope this thread votes in this year’s election.

I’m not very fond of 18-year-old salsa either.

Salsa is a generic term. There is no one recipe. To say “I hate salse” is like saying, “I hate bread,” when bread can be made with zillions of different ingredients, even with no grains.

I live in Texas and I’ve never found a store-bought salsa that I can stand. Some local restaurant fresh salsas are good (provided they contain NO cilantro). I’ve been known to make my own-- roast 2 or 3 very ripe, very good, fresh tomatoes and one (blistered black skin) serrano. Grind up in mini-processor.

Carry on.

You are objectively incorrect and a hazard to the human species.

Maybe the OP has an accent and was getting seltzer? I don’t like seltzer either.

at last something that makes sense!

“…and loving it!”

During a routine physical a decade after starting this thread, Hanna was told by her physician that he had seen some disturbing test results. After more tests, he confirmed his suspicions; Hanna was suffering from a severe salsa deficiency. If left untreated, she would only have months left to live.

The doctor was able to prescribe medication. But ultimately, Hanna had to turn her life around. She took the first step by signing up for weekly salsa awareness meetings at her local community center in 2011. At first she was hesitant; a lifetime of salsaphobia can’t be cured overnight. But seeing other people who had overcome similar problems and hearing their stories made her realize she could change.

The big breakthrough came in 2014. On May 5th - Cinco de Mayo - Hanna was able to eat an entire order of nachos all be herself for the first time in her life. Soon Hanna was putting salsa on everything; hamburgers, spaghetti, pizza, fried chicken, salads, waffles, ice cream, etc. On her most recent physical, her doctor was able to tell Hanna that her salsa problem was in full remission.

Hanna now works as a volunteer, speaking at inner city schools to teach children the importance of salsa in their lives. She sometimes wishes she could go back to her own childhood and live her life over again, avoiding the mistakes. But most of the time she’s happy and looking ahead to a bright salsa-enriched future.

Goes well with balsamic vinegar and Hollandaise.

Chips and salsa is one of my main food groups. Since my “cardiac event” I try to stick with lower sodium salsa and chips. I like medium sweet, hot salsa. Also like salsa verde but it’s often too salty or too mild.

Holy shit, taken in by a zombie again!
