Since day before yesterday!
I have a little contest with myself to see how many e-mails I can get into my trash folder before Yahoo clears it, and this is my record!!!
I know: “Too much time on your hands, Quasi”, right?
But I take my entertainment where I can get it these days!

Is it really a fair game to send most of them to yourself, just to top your previous record?

301 spams that were all legit ??? 
Most of my spams are for enlargement drugs, fake rolexes, adverts for live studs webcams, Nigerian offers I can’t refuse, all the usual crappola. And you’re getting spams by the hundeds that are legit? 
Quasi, just post your Yahoo e-mail address here and ALL YOUR SDMB friends will gladly forward all their spam to you! You’ll break a new spam record every day! You’ll be in the Spamish Hall of World Records! 
I can see I was unclear in the OP, so let me explain a bit further: When I’m done reading an e-mail (SDMB thread notifications included), I send them to my trash bin, and there they stay until Yahoo cleans them out. So I sometimes play a little game to see how many I can amass before that happens and this time it was 301: a record.
Spam goes to Spam and what remains is the legit (well, mostly) stuff.
Hence, the “too much time on my hands” comment! :);)

Whew. When I saw the title of this thread, I assumed you were complaining that you’d suddenly found that many emails in your trash. I was thinking you’d been hacked–that is a common sign. For some reason, some hackers are smart enough to delete the emails they’ve sent, but not smart enough to clear the trash afterwards. When my old account that I never used was hacked, that was what I found. Along with all my personal details changed to where I was some hot girl from Georgia–including a fake picture in my Yahoo profile.
