As a music teacher, I have a student with a TON of singing musical talent. I honestly feel she could at least reach the finals of Canadian Idol. I don’t really watch the show too much as it’s not really my thing. Yet I think it might be a great thing for this girl, she loves singing pop and classic rock, and she has the chops to go extremely far.
Of course as her music teacher I am concerned for her well being, and I would never want to see her life consumed by the media, but I think overall it would be a positive experience for her.
What do you dopers think? Should I present it to her?
