American Idol 2/7 or Not Another Audition Show!

I waited to see if anyone else would start one, but I can wait no longer. Today we are supposed to see the best and the worst according to the promo. Dunno what they have planned for tomorrow.
Since they already know who is going on past Hell Week, I don’t see why they don’t show us the auditions of all who get that far.

Agreed. The novelty of lousy singers has worn off after five years. Show us ALL the contestants who make it through, and maybe one or two of the yucky ones.

So they’re probably giving us a re-cap show tonight. That sucks, but at least it’s only an hour this week so I don’t have to miss Scrubs for it. I thought tomorrow was supposed to be the start of Hell Week, but I don’t remember exactly. That, to me, is when this show starts to get good.

I know one of the shows – don’t know which day – will focus on Boston, the last city on the audition trail.

I’m with *yellowval – bring on Hell Week! The auditions are getting making me excrucinatingly frustrated :aack:

According to Yahoo! TV, the final city auditions (from Boston) are tonight. Wednesday night’s episode is titled “Hollywood 1,” so apparently tomorrow we see our first glimpse of the goings-on in Hollywood. w00t! Count me in with everyone else who just wants to get the damn auditions over with. I love talentless hacks as much as anyone, but they’re not very amusing any more. They’re all starting to look and sound the same, and that’s just no fun.

I’m sick of Patriot Ice already.

Patriot Ice. Ha!

How was that girl?

The basketball playing girl was a good singer, but she needs to learn to enunciate.

I didn’t like her singing but she seemed nice and grounded. She’s a senator’s daughter. And her mom is a local TV personality. It’s nice to see TV personalities can embarrass their teenage daughters just like regular people.

Basketball girl was ok. She can sing but nothing special.

Classically trained my ass.

She looks like she does that at a karioki bar and the guys LOVE her.

Maybe she was nervous…

Or she could have done better if she hadn’t tried to hit high notes.

…backside of a pair of jeans?

That’s the same thing my son just said. Maybe it makes sense in context.

But Randy sounded exactly like my son’s teenage friends when they’re trying to instigate a round of the dozens.

To be fair, singing a cappella is hard. She might be able to sing karaoke. It’s a lot easier to carry a tune if you have some background music to guide you. I was a lead singer in a couple of rock bands and I still can’t sing without a guitar in my hands.

You’re talking about the blonde? Why didn’t the give her the singing lesson advice.

She wasn’t as bad as they put her to be… the sister.

That twin couldn’t sing. God, I sure hope I don’t have to hear her for the next whatever weeks.
P.S. That black/asian woman is HOT!
