I have created another new Twin Peaks fan

With season two finally coming out on DVD next month (although I still am in “I’ll believe it when they’re in my hands” stage) I decided to start my way through season 1 again. I spend Wednesday evenings with my best friend D and we watch a movie or some TV episodes on DVD. I took the pilot over there a week ago Wednesday not believing she’d actually watch it (she hasn’t yet forgiven me for “The Prisoner” and “Wild Palms” was a bust). But she agreed, loved it and was very excited to see the rest of the season, going so far as to contemplate sneaking the next disk out of the case to watch after we watched episodes 2 and 3 this week. Now she’s demanding that I bring over my copy of Laura Palmer’s diary and Dale Cooper’s autobiography and my trading cards.

Good for you! I’ve had a hard time trying to convince my friends to watch “Twin Peaks.” I did intrigue one of 'em into giving it a shot by mentioning that this might be his one chance to see David Duchovny in a dress.
