My parents were good enough to take an hour or so out of their busy retirement schedule to stop by our house. My mom brought us a present.
I am currently enjoying Mommy’s extra-special, super-good, flaky-homemade-crust, sweet-and-juicy, wild blueberry pie.
You can just have your chocolate, or your creme broulet, because nothing beats Mommy’s Wild Blueberry Pie. It has extra love in it.

I make a pretty good strawberry-rhubarb pie, if I do say so myself. I like them really tangy. I also make a decent apple-blueberry crisp w/ oat topping. :> My mother couldn’t make a homemade pie to save her life, poor woman.
