Not taste like pie. Must be bad end.
Sorry, Exgineer, no lemon meringue left. I do make a killer peach streusel pie - mmmmmmmmmm, methinks I need to make one this weekend. All for me… pie and a big glass of milk. <drool>
Pie gone.
Me sad.
pie…swampbear love pie…swampbear need pie…swampbear must make pie…or swampbear sneak up on unsuspecting tourist and swipe pie…mmmm…tourist pie and tourist cooler full of beer…bear party!
Damn You Wee Bull. You win this time.
Yarr! There be no law 'pon the seas for pie-swipers, swampbear.
…We on land though.
Is that so? That really evil.
I hope you choke on your special ickle Blueberry Pie, there.
Darn you people! Now just where the hell am I going to get a slice of pie in downtown Baltimore?
from handy pie cannon?
how handy
mmmmm, pie cannon!
Eh, I apologize.
I actually like Weebl and Bob, but I didn’t like the implied desire to hijack MY PIE!
<deep breaths>
Okay, I’m better now.
</deep breaths>
The pie consumption breakdown is as follows:
Last night we each had three or four slices. The actual volume of each slice varied from sample to sample, but I think I got gypped.
This morning we had one slice each for breakfast.
The pie is gone.
It was the pie to end all pies. The crust was the perfect blend of flakiness and chewyness, that sort of equilibrium only realized by painstakingly folding cold butter into the dry dough ingredients. Know what I mean? I said there was extra love in it.
After breakfast I stuck the Holy Pie Plate back into the 'fridge. I intend to lick the sweet purple nectar that suspends the miniscule golden-brown crusty bits from it when I get home.
I am a pig.
I suppose I need to begin my Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie Aquisition Program.
<sigh>
I likes me my pie.
I just realized something.
Fresh strawberries are way out of season, and pie made from frozen strawberries just can’t measure up.
Crap.
Dude, yer screwed until next summer. Harsh.
How 'bout some Key Lime pie to tide you over?
On the other hand, pumpkin pie season is right around the corner. :> And apple pie too really.
Mmm, 1.5 pie.
Ooohhh-
Apple pie. Apple pie with cheese.
Apple pie without cheese
is like a hug without a squeeze
Gimme some of my Mom’s apple pie with a big hunk o’ cheddar.
That might be almost as good as the blueberry.
Dang you, lokij. You’re a tease.
I didn’t know pumpkin pie had a season - the cans of pumpkin are always available in my grocery store. In fact, I made one a couple of months ago.
Then there’s my MIL’s buttermilk pie - teeth-curling rich and oh-so-yummy!!!
Must bake pie this weekend…
Hey everybody, FairyChatMom makes her pumpkin pies out of canned pumpkin flesh.
Even the rawest neophyte knows that you must roast a whole pumpkin (cored and seeded, of course), and carefully scoop the flesh out of the skin if you want to make Pumpkin Pie. (You need lots of ginger, too.)
Let’s all point and snicker.
[sub]If FairyChatMom actually thinks I was serious with this post, I will slink away and never come back.[/sub]
Exgineer, you know that you can make pies don’t you? That way, you can have any kind of pie you want when you want. That’s the American way.
FairyChatMom, recipes for peach struesel and buttermilk, por favor, please, sil vous plait?
Please?
