My lemon meringue pie recipe came off the back of a bag of lemons - I’ve been using it for years. No condensed milk, and I cheated on the crust - I used one of those frozen, folded ones. I know how to make crusts, I just don’t like to. Ergo, no leftover crust.

Which Seminole?? Mapquest shows one near St. Pete and one near Ft. Waltom Beach… Orange Park is just south of Jacksonville.

Because I am invited to a lovely and wonderful Down Home Southern Rosh Hashanah dinner tonight, I currently have crust chilling for three kinds of pies, pumpkin, sweet potato and honey-cinnamon apple. I’m making two of each. My friends and I will eat pie and wish each other a sweet new year.

I make a heckuva pie. I’d share with you all, but you know, I don’t know if I like you enough.

Oh, and I use my extra dough to make cinnamon twisties. Perfect for breakfast the second day. Ahh, twisties.
