SO, WHAT’S THE POlNT?
Thing is when I type the lower case “L” in the text box, it looks like an “I,” but when submitted, there’s the slight curve at the bottom that distinguishes it as an “L.” I don’t plan on spamming the place in caps lock (too often), but I least next time I want to demand kitten pictures loudly, I know how.
OH, AND YOU CAN ALSO DO THIS INDEFINITELY IF YOU STICK IN AN EMOTICON SOMEWHERE. THE TRICK, YOU SEE, IS THE EMOTICON NEEDS TO CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE LOWER CASE LETTER.

Yeup. Okay, I think I know everything I need to know here. It’s not my browser, because I use different browsers at home and work, and it’s the same thing. Carry on, all.
I don’t know what you are saying or complaining about. However, I have an alternate laptop computer where the cap locks key is easily hit and I keep having to turn it off. Just be aware that you can easily remap your keyboard to do whatever you want. You could Google for cap lock changes and find a simple program to do it for you. For example, you could mute the cap locks key and make a control key function as the cap lock.
I don’t think anyone’s complaining. I’ve been posting here for eight years, and this is the first time I’ve ever noticed the board has this feature. That is because I DON’T TYPE LIKE THIS!!! I only noticed when I tried to for the first time (as a joke) ever. This is just a test thread. I was mainly here to try out attempts to make all caps posts, or those are close enough, and to share the observation.
But now I’ve tried what I wanted to try, and am finished.

ACTUALLY IT’S PRETTY EASY TO DO IT WITHOUT HAVING TO SACRIFICE YOUR L’S TO I’S. You just have to cheat.
Hmm, forcing non-caps has changed a bit. You used to get “title” case, i.e., the first letter of each word would remain caps. Now only the first character of each sentence stays cap.
