I’m no fan of Malkin, but that’s pretty disingenuous to imply she claims it never happened. Firstly, it’s quite possible that she hadn’t heard Pelosi’s remarks yet (both quotes are from the same day), and Malkin was focusing on whether or not Dems defending the police, not on whether they rebuked McKinney.
At least this thread didn’t stoop to insulting her looks.
Oh, yea. And she’s ugly and her mother dresses her funny!!
Who are we talking about, again?
The love child of Delay and McKinney a la “If They Mated” on Conan.
And Millard Fillmore – damn fool is worthless even as a trivia question, and ought to be retrospectively shot for inspiring Mallard Fillmore.
I do find it interesting that the very first report I saw about this incident was illustrated with a nice, flattering 3/4 profile shot of McKinney (recent, because it had what someone in the other thread described as the Sideshow Bob hairdo), while every subsequent report has been illustrated with that puffed-up, goggle-eyed, bizarrely smirking, glaring straight-into-the-camera shot that makes her look batshit crazy.
Aw man, this isn’t helping my bingo card at all…
It is agreed. By a show of hands, may we pass the resolution that there are, in fact, nutjobs and whackos in Congress. Be they Democrat, Republican, Independent. I won’t mention the Greens, since everyone already knows how wacky they are.
Gotta love that one.
Taft was enormously fat, and also rode horses regularly, which would be cruelty to animals unless he was riding Clydesdales.
I would like to thank the SDMB, and specifically Jackmannii, because Clydesdales is one of those words they never teach you properly in language school. All my teachers and the dictionaries say is “a kind of horse”, now I know which kind!
Often when Spanish TV reporters call live from whichever-Parliament you see the metal detectors in the background, people going through, identifying themselves on the way in and out. We’ve had members of Parliament who got elected while in prison, but never one who refused to show ID or tried to whack the cops in his way to work. Just give us a bit more time, I’m sure one dumb enough will come along!
Re the nature of that picture it was fairly in your face obvious, and a bit racially obnoxious (however much of an attention whore she might be) what the Drudge picture was trying to suggest as seen here. The instant I saw it I said “Holy Crap! That’s Buckwheat!”
This morning was the first I heard of it.
From the videos I saw of her at the gym this morning, I would say that the initial photo was the exception.
That’s mine thank you, and although it wasn’t terribly original, it was very apt.
MMMmmmmm…BEER.
Wha? McKinney who? Is she pulling the Budweiser Wagon?
The Capital Police pulled over the Bud Wagon?
Looking for “Non-sequitor” on my bingo card…DAMMIT…not there!
…and 3 (bingo) game suspension to me for the incorrect usage of “Capital”. :smack:
I was totally thinking of Andrew Johnson. Impeached bastard!
We can all hope that this use of the race card will end it’s use once and for all.
Sorry. The race card comes from a shoe bigger than any in Vegas. Plenty to go round for the foreseeable future.
