I prefer to wait until birth. We have two boys already. The first I “knew” was a boy; the second I was CONVINCED was a girl. I could have sworn I saw a hamburger bun on the ultrasound. When baby popped out, and my husband said, “It’s a boy! It’s a BOY??” it was quite a shock.

So sorry to hear your sad news, Antigen. I had three miscarriages. It is sad and scary how common it is, how many “me toos” you get from your friends and family. It’s like a big sad club you didn’t even know existed until you join. When you consider the amazing complications and wonders of human life, it is not a surprise that sometimes early efforts don’t stick, but I hope you will look at the positive - you are popping out eggs, your SOs sperm are wiggly and motile, you fertilized an egg and that’s a big hurdle.
