I’ve seen a lot of post count threads and haven’t read any moderator posts against it. Just in case though, I’m also bragging about my xmas shopping :).
I think it’s ok to open threads about 1000 posts, but anything less than that is frowned upon. (Oh dear. I have a sudden urge to post about it when I reach 999 posts. Some time in 2010.)
