Ask your friend if she’s happy with it. Then offer advice as appropriate. If she’s happy, then let her do as she will. But if she’s looking for advice to stop without hurting anyone’s feelings or something (?), then go from there.
I know “Won’t someone think of the children” is a big laugh line around here, but as PunditLisa points out, occasionally it’s not a bad idea. There’s lots of ways this can work out in ways that make some or all of the kids’ lives miserable, and it doesn’t seem like the adults on the case are really thinking about this very much.
