I Just Got Back From RHPS...

Damn that was fun. My friend Paule just got dumped yesterday, so my boyfriend and I decided we were going to take her out to make her feel better. So we decide to go to Rocky Horror. I get so psyched that I get dressed and immediately go downstairs and start watching my video of it. Yeah I know I’m pathetic. Then my bf picked me up and we went to Paule’s and got her and she was rolling a joint and we took it and smoked it in the car and that was the first time I have ever been really stoned and my ears vibrated from the music. When we got there, during the Time Warp, I noticed my friend Malka was onstage as a Transylvanian. When she got offstage she jumped me and it was cool and stuff. I watched the rest of the movie, then we went to IHOP with all the cast people. I think a lot of them are right. If you go every weekend you’ll get sick of the movie, but I don’t see myself evr getting sick of those people. They make you feel so loved even though they just met you and probably won’t see you again for a long time if ever. I’m not tired at all. K, I’ll shut up now.

::attempts to wave his hand to clear the smoke but it sticks::

That’s supposed to make her feel better?

Y’know, I always got that same effect (without having to endure the Show) from my theatre work. This summer, we get to do The Wizard of Oz, which means a HUGE cast… which means some crazy, funkytown parties. And I was so pleased when I heard that my old crew from Fiddler (last summer) was coming back again…

I think RHPS is a great anti-break up idea. Nothing like Tim Curry in a bustier with lots of debautchery and drugs to make a relationship loss seem minimal.

Don’t dream it, baby. Be it.

Which characters did you all dress up as? I’ve always wanted to go to a midnight showing of RHPS. I’m going as soon as I turn 18. (I can’t wait!)

I wish they still showed RHPS by me. New Jersey sucks!

We didn’t dress as anyone in particular. Just the standard black lingirie and fishnets. It doesn’t really play near me, it is an hour and a half drive, but it’s worth it. We had so much fun last week that we decided to make it a regular thing. We’re going every week from now on.
