You know how, when you’re waking up early and you hit the snooze button a couple times, sometimes you fall back asleep into a weird half-sleep where you have weird banal dreams that seem more related with real life than the dreams you have late at night?
Maybe it’s just me.
Between my 2nd and 3rd snoozes before I got out of bed just now, I had this little dream-vignette of getting out of bed and checking the board. I went to MPSIMS and there was this crazy multiposted thread.
Apparently grimpixie had started a thread called “I saw a flat” about five or six times. The top one had one response, then there was a different thread, then the second one with no responses, the third one with two responses, and two more with none.
The dream consisted of 1) this image (and seriously, all those details were in this one image that I dreamed of the MPSIMS front page), and 2) the thought that I was surprised that there were still multiposts since the board speedup.
Nothing personal to grimpixie – I don’t even know him/her. Apparently my dreaming mind just conjured that name up as “example of SDMB poster.”
And I thought I’d share it all with you, although I know there have been SDMB dream threads before. So I’ll take this opportunity to wish everyone a restful and happy Saturday although I myself have to go to work.
