In chat tonight, I went toe to toe with WoodThrush, Silo, and Fugazi and smoked them by myself.
Just wanted to gloat for a moment.
I have heard of one they call “smeghead”. Perhaps he would be a worthy opponent for me.
For now, I will wear my championship belt proudly.

Hey, not my fault really. I’m lagged really bad here. You answered the questions before I could even read them (and I’m a pretty fast reader).
I don’t want to sound too whiney though. You did answer a bunch I didn’t know.
There are many worthy opponents that you have not met yet… my skills in this arena are formidable but pale in comparison to Lola’s.

There is a separate channel where a bot asks questions. You tell the bot how many points a game is played to, and it asks questions until a team gets enough right answers. There are two teams, and the trick is that you have to type the entire correct answer to win. So, fast typists have an advantage (unfair? perhaps.)
The bot asks the questions, and the first person to submit the correct answer wins a point for their team. Very fun, but I can see it becoming a major time sink so I must tread cautiously.
In my experience, I’m second only to Smeghead, who is the Rocket Typist From Hell.

Funny, I seem to remember it a little differently, Max.
I must give props to MaxTorque for edging me in a round of trivia.
In a hotly contested 15 point game, Max and I battled to a 14 point tie. The last question was “What color was Bullitt’s car?” Silo got the answer (green) before either Max or I, and he happened to have joined Max’s team. This was the only answer given by someone other than Max or I.
So, kudos to Max for kicking at least as much trivia ass as me.
Sounds like smeg has nothing to worry about, but I’d relish the chance to be beaten by a master.

Yes, I have been known to play a wee bit o’ trivia or two. Yes, I seem to remember singlehandedly taking on half a dozen people at once and firmly trouncing them. After being kickbanned by WoodThrush out of frustration in the middle of the game, even.
I am always open to a challenge, but I probably won’t be around much in chat this week. Alas, duty calls me from my true purpose in life. Next time I see you, though, game on! That reminds me, I still owe SilverFire a game - she claims to be just as good as me, but about a half second slower. Oh, one rule, though - no whining about lag! Make sure you’re happy with your connection before starting. Nothing should sully my triumph!
