Thank you Diogenese, for that comment about us “naturals”.
Yikes! I guess there’s sensitive skin, and there’s sensitive skin. Since leaving sensitive skin nair on for less than the recommended time horribly burned my underarms, I don’t think I’ll ever try your suggestion. The “testing an area” suggestion on the bottle isn’t really an accurate way to see how your skin will react, though, since it doesn’t harm my legs in the least.
Nah, I think a once-a-month trim is all that is required…then again, I’m not sleeping with anyone, so there’s no one to object
Ah! Thanks, Lola (and all you other ladies who were kind enough to share). The first and third reasons make a lot of sense, from an objective perspective. And, I’m sure the second makes sense from a subjective perspective.
My GF wears a G-string bikini, I can’t imagine her wearing such a small swimsuit without a shave. Nothing looks worse tham a thong bikini with hair sticking out!
I prefere her to wear the smallest suit possible, so shaving is required!
I shave anything that’s outside the bikini line, then trim what doesn’t get shaved. It seems to be a nice compromise. My husband doesn’t want me to go completely bare (and I think the itching would drive me crazy anyway), as he said it creeps him out, it looks pre-pubescent.
Generally trim, shave to accomodate swimsuit in the summer. Will occassionally even shave my legs, but only when I want to. Like other blonds, I’m blessed with precious little hair.
For those ladies who experience razor burn: I’ve found a product called Bikini Zone works wonders for me. I apply it directly after and the next morning and I’ve never had razor burn or itchy re-growth since. Hope that helps.
