Some years ago I had a leak in my ceiling from the apartment upstairs, evidently from condensation from an air conditioner. I went up to see what was going on. A young woman opened the door. While I was explaining, her flatmate, another attractive looking woman, arrived with a guy in tow who looked at me rather sheepishly. This was in the middle of the afternoon.

In the circle of friends I had when I lived in the Greater L.A. area was a woman, attractive, mid-to-late forties when I knew her (at the time, late twenties to early thirties).
