(It doesn’t get anymore mundane and pointless than this) Specifically, I love MY new galoshes. They’re super-cozy, fantastically water-resistant, and the best part of all - they are all of that in a funky green plaid!

Do you have a picture? They sound cute. I need new galoshes. Or any galoshes, cause I never owned any and they seem like a wise investment in Chicago.

Here they are. So Cute

With the weather we’ve been having in Chicago this fall, I consider them the best shoe purchase I’ve made in years (and I’ve made LOTS of shoe purchases). Now, if only I could find the black suede, slight platform, lined but with no-fake-fur-spilling-over-the-top, winter-boot I’ve been dreaming about…

I like the buckles and lining-containment on the first pair. I think what I meant was slight wedge, not platform :smack: I will break my ankles on heels like that in the snow (though they are cute for the non-snowy winter days…damn, I need to keep this shoe habit in check :()

Of course, I will have to build an outfit around the shoes, but hey…that’s what they call a challenge!

Those are HOT! Buy them before I do :slight_smile: I actually want the ones by the “shoemall catalog” ad on the homepage. They remind me of a pair of Marc Jacobs shoes I saw, but as much as I wanted them, I refused to part with $300.

I know! I saw lots of cute ones, but for shoes, I don’t go over about $100. Boots, $300…but they have to be extraordinarily faaaabulous, dahling.
