This thread has a dual purpose :
First, instead of bumping the old thread, I thought I’d thank Nunavut Boy for my candy here. I wasn’t expecting to get it so soon. I am ashamed to say I haven’t even sent yours yet because I can’t decide what to send. I promise I’ll send it soon.
The second purpose is to say how much I love Smarties! I’m not talking those kind of powdery ones we have in the US. I’m talking the chocolate one from Canada. I can best describe them as kind of like M&M’s but so much better. I can actually taste the flavor of the candy coating and the cocolate tastes way better. I haven’t even tried anything else the box but if all the chocolate is of the same quality, I know I’m going to enjoy it all.

For the record, the proper name for those powdery-sugary things is Rockets.
I like M&Ms better than Smarties, but every now and then Smarties make a nice change. The candy flavour is far more prominent, and the way they crunch being flatter appeals to me somehow.
Just to clarify, I actually love Smarties (or Rockets). My mom always has a bowl of them on her coffee table and it’s usually one of my first stops after hugging her.

Great, now I’ve got a chocolate craving, and I am so not going downstairs to get some. Junk food does not last long enough in this apartment.

I love Smarties too. The Canadian branch of our company sends them to us sometimes, but I don’t know how to obtain more (lots more!) on my own. Anybody know of a place online where I can order them?

Wow! I’m not sure I trust myself around an entire case of Smartie goodness, but I’m seriously considering ordering it anyway.
I loved (almost) everything. I don’t remember what it was called but the one that was kind of jelly covered in chocolate was a bit strange. Everything else was great. Those Aeros, especially the mint were awesome. I was a bit worried about that coffee crunch but it was very good.
Thanks again. I haven’t looked at the disksyet but I plan to tomorrow. I’m going to send your candy on Friday. Unfortunatley, I haven’t had a chance to do it yet. I promise it will go out this week though.
I think I might get a case of the Smarties. My coworkers would probably like them too.
