That’s good news. I was wondering how it went for you.
I’m glad to hear it went well. Keep your eyes on the present and the future, and don’t let the past prevent what the future can be.

Anaamika–I’m glad to hear that your conversation with your mom went well. Good on you for having the guts to start a reconciliation with her.
Wow! thanks, all you guys. It really feels good to hear this. I have to give kudos to my boyfriend, who was there for me as he’s always been.

As a father of two teenage girls, I can say dads feel the same way about our daughters. Even if we clash at times. I’m so glad things went well.
I’m also glad I’m home alone, 'cause I kind of want to cry too.
I’m glad to hear it. My dad comes from a home of 6 brothers and 2 sisters, and the sisters were the eldest and the youngest. So while one was almost a mother figure, the other was spoiled rotten. I think for many years he’d look at me like ! However, he was a “house-husband” for a long time, and took care of me. I have very fond memories of him, and it makes me happy to think he does of me, too.
