Are you sent a notification (i.e. “Congratulations, (insert name here). ___Your thread has been selected for Threadspotting, ____Your URL has been selected for Weird Earls (check one)”? I usually don’t check out the homepage, I just go right for the cookie jar.

Hell, even if you do go to the home page, you still may never know if you don’t click on the link. In the case of Threadspotting, they don’t actually give the thread title. It’s just a line that plays off of the thread title somehow. The current one has a title of “Oh, that”.
Both give credit to the person who submitted the thread/earl, but not who started the spotted thread/created the Weird Earl.
Oh yeah, Brats got two mentions on the front page. I’m double happy now.
