I used to feel for you. I used to think I understood your perspective, that there was a decent, if somewhat immature and annoying, human being in there trying to get her shit together. Based on today’s output, though, I have to conclude that I was mistaken.
You’re not a nice person who’s just confused and disorganized and down on herself right now. You’re a bigot, and a jackass to boot. Not only are you unhappy at how the brown people are taking over, you deliberately persist in using terms and stereotypes you know are cruel, hurtful, and not even based in reality.

If you willingly engage in it you are part of the problem and not the solution. From what I have read in the linked thread, people here sure seem to have a right to be angry about your attitude. Yes, IDBB, you might be well served to find a place more suited for you. You’re not interested in seeing things differently. You’re not interested in living differently. You’d rather wallow in your comfy little puddle of self-pity and willful ignorance. You go right ahead and do that, but please do it somewhere else. Someplace where people don’t mind you casually tossing around offensive and hurtful language. Someplace where people don’t feel the need to point out to you that your problems are entirely of your own making. She’s simply being held accountable for repeatedly making racist remarks.
Rather than own up to her behaviour however, she’s now whining that some of us don’t get her humor.
I’ve just had a minor epiphany about IDBB and why I think she posts the crap that she does.
She’s obviously not very well educated.
She doesn’t make a whole lot of money at her job and she despises her work.
She lives in a small town where, I suspect, the majority of people that she admires wouldn’t give her the time of day.
She’s pretty close to the bottom of the social/economic rung in her milieu.
She has to have some one to look down on and feel superior to-hence the white trash theme in her posts. “I may only be a pitiful fast food worker but at least I’m not white trash” thinks our little IDBB] as she hangs up her apron for the night.
She also has to have some one to blame for her failures as she rungs out that register- hence the concurrent racist theme about Mexicans.
“It’s those damn Latino’s that are taking over and keeping good white women like me from getting the jobs we deserve” she mutters as she begins her drive home.

I’ve tried to stick up for you many a time and you never fail to make me look foolish for doing so. Your last thread was the clincher. I’m the last person to throw the term “bigot” around like it’s nothing, but you’ve definately been pushing it over the past few days.
I really don’t think this is the best message board for you. You’ve had a chance to take the classy route out of here, but instead you chose the tacky and cowardly route and made a last ditch effort to blame your shortcomings on those around you instead of where that blame beongs: squarely on top of your own damn shoulders.

I want to make it clear that I am not so much offended by what you have to say IDBB. To be offended would mean my feelings were hurt in some way. Or I might be offended if I felt your comments would do lasting harm to the hard working immigrants you seem to think you are superior to. Really, I hardly think anyone cares.
I just think you are an idiot. You broadcast ceaseless examples of your down trodden life while steadfastly refusing to improve yourself. You apparently have found someone else to blame for that and I hope it makes you feel better.

I am not being sarcastic, my husband and I have actually had long, amusing conversations about you and your trainwreck of a life. I am always looking forward to the next installment, and I marvel at your nerve to pick on immigrants who don’t speak perfect English despite the fact that those immigrants took the initiative to leave their home countries to seek a better life while you won’t even take the initiative to sign up for a pottery class at the community college.
