I must be the first one up MMP

Cumpleanos feliz a la abuela de Nava!

doggio, you reminded me of the one clock in the house that I forgot: the coffee maker. Everything else either does it automatically, was done before bed Saturday night or, as in the case of the one in the truck, I don’t bother. It was nice driving to irk in the daylight today.

Growing up in Indiana, from the time that I was a toddler until I left, we didn’t observe DST as a state, with a few exceptions around Chicago and Louisville and the marches-to-a-different-drummer Knox County. At my first job in Nashville, working second shift, my coworkers had a Turning-the-clock ceremony for me, complete with me getting to reset one of our few analog clocks.

Apparently I have a Princess Pretty Paws dog myself. The big dogs just ignore the rain (or snow or whatever).

Little new gal Does Not Approve. I took her out to the yard, put her down, and she turned around and headed for the house as fast as she could manage. I think she’s making like a camel and holding her water. We’ll see how long this lasts.

Off to try and figure out my latest software upgrade.

Howdy Y’all! I did indeed irk from da cave this afternoon. Matter of fact, got a few things to finish up and irktime is over. YAY! 'Tis rainy and generally ick out.

That is all for now.

Whew - day of frustration. I swear, the Windchill server is either possessed or it’s a terrorist plot to make me crazy! Our IT guy keeps saying they need to contact the manufacturer, but so far, nothing is happening. Oh well…

I changed my dentist appt from tomorrow to the 19th, since I’m still hacking like I’m about to die. To be fair, it’s not as often, but when I have to cough, it goes on for a bit. My chest muscles hurt from the effort. Hope it passes soon.

Someone brought in leftover candy, so I got a little chocolate - that made up for some of my misery. Meanwhile, only 3 days to go, then my baby girl gets here! YAY!!

Happy Moanday!

Dindin has been ingested. Roast beast, n.o.t., carrots, and cornbread muffins. NUM! Plus leftover beast for another night’s dindin, possibly my version of Philly cheese steaks. The rain may be taperin’ off, or not. We could have one more front come through within the hour.

I’ll be giving my sweetie a haircut this evening. That’s about all the productivity I can manage. I hate that it’s so dark so early. <sigh>

On top of it all, there’s a severe lack of chocolate in this house. Dammit.

I think I’m done computerin’ for the day. MWAH!

Look at what I found! Our favorite NC canine-serving hockey nut has his likeness in resin figurines. :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually it does look a little bit like him. At least at the end of the pub crawl.

I’, taking advantage of the good weather and getting a couple coats of paint on the main traffic area of the porch the next couple mornings. And they are trying an experiment at work and I’m one of the lab rats. I feel a spree coming on. The film will probably be Thursday at 11.

Looks like the rain is over. I foresee very shortly retirin’ to the boudoir to watch teevee until sleepy time. Sleepy time may ensue very shortly after retirement to the boudoir. I’s tahrd!

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Spidey I forgot to mention it earlier, nice catch on the camera swatter!

The dog continues to refuse to go outside while it’s wet. Hopefully she’ll get over this…

I am having ice cream for lunch. Sore mouth.

Neurologist is going to try some of the same things that I have tried before. We shall see. I feel less than optimistic. Oh well. It’s a big state. There must be someone, somewhere who really specializes in migraines.

Oh well. It’s chocolate ice cream at least

We have certainly established that I hate your guts from the very dark heart of my soul.
Can you not provide a checkbox for me to click on, rather than waste every MMPer’s time reading such posts of mine?

We ate boiled shrimp, Mrs. Plant’s (v.3.0) suggestion of asparagus and green onions stir fried, and an ancient spaghetti squash that she prepared earlier.

Two DVDs arrived in the mail, a film noire (sp?) and The Bicycle Thieves, sad to be one of the greatest films in the world. We shall see.

I worked. I will be pulling a double(and going across town to a different store. At rush hour. During construction.:smack:)

incoherent ,sure. But I sure as hell didn’t wear a Pens jersey.

Spidey, and Gordie has a crease colored towel he sleep in in the goal.

OK, WTH? Three months ago I hadn’t even heard of Windchill, now it keeps cropping up.

I’m thinking today’s plans will include a store trip (very tiring, it’s at least 5 blocks away and they’re short ones but half of the paving is cobbles), the review of the new heater (dude coming to run QA and make sure the two guys who were climbing all over my kitchen haven’t installed anything upside-down), and a bath. Oh, I will also work from home, but how much actual work that entails will depend on other people so I can’t really plan it.

Worked a courthouse scene today for a murder trial. Just in front of the courthouse is a two lane one way street and a crosswalk. I went to cross the street around 3pm; a car in the near lane stopped, I start to cross, another car in the far lane approaches, keeps coming, doesn’t stop - even though I am right there about to step in front of him. About 6 inches from my toes.

So in front of a dozen TV people, another couple dozen bystanders and a pair of deputies I hauled off and kicked the crap out of his car door as he drove by. The car skidded to a halt asd I continued to cross the street behind him. The window rolled down and a pissed looking guy says “Were you in the crosswalk?”

“Ya missed me by six inches” I replied and kept walking. He drove away (no damage to the car but it was loud as hell). The crowd approved, including the deputies.

Up, caffeinated, off to work.
My favorite Irish pub is closing. :frowning:

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 72 Amurrkin out and waaaaaaaaay foggy, with a predicted high of 79 and sunny for the day. Glad I don’t have to go anywhere this mornin’ cause the whole area is foggy.

doggio how sad! :frowning:

gigity good for you!

flytrap would it help if I put what I have for dindin in a spoiler box? That way it would be your fault if you click on the spoiler box. :stuck_out_tongue:

OK, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Sorry you are having to try all the same junk again. That seems pointless. Here are some links with specialist information:

Blurf.

I am at irk, it is irksome. My co-irker has been off sick for five weeks now, with no actual discernible illness. No idea how much longer he’s going to be off, without something definite from him, our manager can’t put a case forward to a temp to cover his post. I am the only one doing any of his work at the moment, although today I managed to rope somene in to input attendance information while I get on with some of his other stuff.

I wouldn’t mind so much if I was getting two people’s wages!

giggity, I would have done the same thing, except I’m a delicate little flower and wouldn’t have made much of a noisy impact on the car

doggio - always sad when a pub closes, we are losing them in the UK at an alarming rate. Fortunately we are getting a new one in our town, and it’s going to be a Slater’s real ale pub too. Something to look forward tol, finally.
