So I’ve been working on editing down the raw video, when I see some kid, from the same school as the first one, notice the camera & again run ‘horizontally’ across the course to get under it, running into the path of & trampling some smaller kid upon doing such. As he gets in front of the camera, he raises his arms, one of which is clearly holding a cell phone in it. (Jewelry & electronics are forbidden in competition). I sent this one off to the AD as well, along with a note that maybe it’s time to sit down with the coach & the team & have a nice talk about respecting other people, & their property, & the rules. One would think that given this is a private religious school these things would be taught already. :o
He won’t admit it, but he has a hot tub, a cement pond, and a vibrating recliner in the tee vee room.

Sorry I just noticed these posts - been kinda out of it because my best friend got laid up with a triple bypass yesterday (thought fortunately no cardiac event prior to surgery). Today he sounds really good, but we’ve all been busy.
That’s one of the biggest problems I have when I start looking at video as evidence: I find too much crap. And yes, teenagers are little shits. And the ‘nicer’ the school, the more the fuckers think they are entitled to being assholes. See “Midshipmen” as a case study.

We surveyed the house today. Looks like we’ll be tearing down a few walls, moving some stuff around, getting rid of all the carpet - but MOSTLY it’ll just be cosmetic work. I’m glad we found somewhere that (so far) doesn’t need heavy maintenance! Other than that, I’ve just been working. The flu’s going around so they’ve needed me pretty much every day the past two weeks. Blurf!

It is not a good health week in my irkplace, another person has called in sick today which means I’m the only student admin working…fortunately it’s reading week so most of the Very Special Snowflakes have gone home to spend the week with their families and probably not doing any reading at all.
I hope the sickies are back by Monday though, I have had a tough enough time carrying the Year 2 post for the last five weeks, I don’t really have capacity for any more. Woe is me, and all that stuff.

This mornin’ I shall slack at da cave for a bit. OK, do some irk stuff, but not at the orifice. I have enrollments to do up in the north forty and 'tis easier to go from da cave as it’s closer. After that, I shall irk from da cave the rest of the day again just cause 'tis easier and makes more sense. Note to flytrap: This means I am on the job. Oh and btw, butters yes I do have a hot tub but don’t use it real ofter. Plus I really do have a cee-mint pond, a smoker, and a recliner that vibrates and has heat.

Still, it’s funny; I can remember lots of my bad calls, which are miniscule in number to my good ones (if they weren’t, I wouldn’t be a ref), but hardly ever remember my good ones. Guess the old line "you learn from your mistkes’ is truth after all.
So tonight I’ll go out for the next game, clench my fists to focus, turn around with a smile and do a new game–and do it well.

something is wrong with the furnace.
The whole house shakes when it runs. At first I thought it was a truck outside, but no, it’s the furnace. From reading online I think it just needs good cleaning. At least it’s going to be warm for a while, I can turn the heat down so it doesn’t run as often.
Kid 1 is on the bus and off to school. Kid 2 will be gone in 15.
Then to see what joy awaits me today: putting away laundry I think.
Howdy, At irk. Just got back from the Pubic store getting sandwich making supplies and chips for my lone clerk. Not much else happening here in paradise.

So, our A/C stopped working on Monday, turned out to be a coolant leak. The maintenance guy decided that instead of trying to fix it, he’s just going to have replaced. Even better, the new unit is a 2.5 ton, the old one was 2 tons.
