I need a new word....

I’m often telling my daughter (age 8) how proud I am of her. She often asks me why I’m so proud, and I’ll list off 3 or 4 of the most recent things she’s done.

During various times she’ll do something good and I’ll say, “See, there is another reason I’m so proud of you.”

Recently I told her that I’m so proud that we need to come up with a word that means better than proud. Stupendously proud. I told her we’ll make up a word.

There may be words that mean more than proud, but I’d like a word that she and I can share.

Any ideas?

Stuproudous.

How about “noblesse esteemo”?

Megaproud
Superproud
Proud with a side of fries
Proud XL

Proudigious

Reproudtable (redoubtable)

Aproudalyptic

Oproudulent

Sumprouduous

Splendiprouderous

I’m just so relieved to hear that other parents play this game, I was worrying that I might be overdoing it. But I couldn’t imagine limiting myself to just one. . .

ETA: forgot a favorite, extproudagant. Oh! and Extproudinary!

I like this one best, but it is easier to pronounce if you leave off the “t”-Exproudinary.

I need a new word/
one that says that I’m proud/
One that makes my girl laugh/
when I say it out loud

I need a new word!/
One that won’t get me sued/
One that’ll get my point across/
and put her in a good mood.

One that won’t tie my tongue up, making it come out wrong
One that I could use as the last word in this song.
(If I record this song…)

But then you lose the ringmaster extra-accent -> Exxxxxxt-PROUDinary

LOL! I know, I know, I’m *THAT *Mom. But she gives me sooo many reasons to be! :D;)
