Adding my thoughts and prayers. I know what it is like, having gone thru just this same thing with my father in May of this year. You feel guilty hoping for their death, but you know inside it is the right thing. May he find peace soon.

Some good news: His painkillers have been upped again, so he’s sleeping. Hospice is surprised he’s lasted this long, but I’m not as upset now that he isn’t in pain.

He died about a half an hour ago.
He was a veteran. He held out until Veteran’s Day. I guess I can’t begrudge him that.
