Oh my goodness, don’t be embarrassed. If the shoe were on the other foot, you’d jump in without a second thought. Everyone needs a little help from time to time. God knows I made many a trip down to the utility company just before midnight to shove my payment through the night deposit slot to keep from stuff getting shut off the next day. I’d write warm checks the day before payday. I’ve had friends buy me groceries. There’s no shame. We’re all paddling this big canoe together. Hope things improve. 
Well said, ThelmaLou. Yes we do all need some help from time to time. I’ve been there, barely making the rent check. Or not. It does suck.
