I’m not questioning your motives, Snailboy, and assume your relationship with your friend is completely honorable - but if they’re having trouble in the relationship, her talking to a male friend about their sex problems isn’t going to help things at all. If the husband finds out it could do some real damage to their relationship.
Another vote for therapist. One reason (stress from financial issues) my not be the total picture, and once you find all the factors, you still to need find solutions that will make both the husband and wife happier and/or avoid falling into the same situation again.
If he likes porn (and who doesn’t?) and masturbates to it, he should quit masturbating to it, or at least cut down greatly.
