I need to know some one else view on this

Today my husband reciedved a phone call from someone. They did not tell us who it was. I did not pick up the phone because they clearly only wanted to speak to him. Plus I had no idea who it was. This person informed us that my husband grandmother had died and that his mother was a local phone call. They said that his mother was problely ( I guess she is not sure herself of this.) suffering and he should call and talk to her and wish her a happy Christmas.

It should also be noted that they called the night that we have always spent with his family Chirstmas eve to call.

Note: she did not call or write to tell him that his grandmother was dieing. Others were informed. SO he did not get to say good bye. We were also not informed for several days after her passing so we could not attend the services. In fact we found out by an email several days and the next email ( had the same heading as that email) was sent by mistake and to please disregaurd it. ( Like she got better) We felt that this was a message don’t come to the services.

She did not send the kids anything for CHirstmas.

She also has two other childern whom she is not very close to. She has her sister whom she is close to and other grandchildern. So I don’t see why she would be all alone.

If she had in some way informed us herself them I would encourage him to see her.

It should also be noted that my father passed away this past May and they all knew and at this time we were still okay and not one person said I am sorry for loss.

We have not been speaking seems this September. We have been not happy with her for the past couple of years. We have several other issues having to do with respect and raising our kids our way ect ect…

SO my question is should he speak to her??
