After his wretched behaviour during the President’s address to Congress, I immediately donated to his opponents fund.

Then I went to Joe Wilson’s site and left a message defining how much I was not donating to his campaign and why. I don’t live in his state, but I spent a lot of time there in my youth. But I can tell you truly, if he had kept his yap shut and shown good manners, I’da kept right out of it.

However, since he felt that his rude behaviour was worth a shout out on Whistle Britches’s show, I felt I should make my own little humble statement.

So anyhow, after not contributing to his campaign, I was very surprised to get an email from him stating:

Dear Tina,

As you may be aware, the attacks and threats from the liberal Democrats have not let up.

On Fox News I made one thing clear: I will not apologize to Nancy Pelosi and her allies who threatened to censure me in the U.S. House of Representatives. ** There was a video and more jerked knee rhetoric that I left out.

Well, color me surprised. I would certainly never muzzle him, nor would I ever suggest he should be. I would though, recommend a rabies shot.

So I sent him this back:

No, you are an ill mannered lout catering to the lowest common denominator of the republican party. In the message I left for you, I called you a grandstanding, showboating oaf. I clearly stated that I would not donate to you, that I would and did donate to your opponent. For every bot mail I get from you, I will donate again to Rob Miller. Dude, please have someone read your mail before I go broke.

Wouldn’t you think someone, somewhere would read the emails sent him? Well, anyhow, off I go to donate a bit more to the other guy.

From what I understand, the donations have been piling up nicely for Joe as well. Now over $1MM since his outburst

The utter obliviousness of the nutters is truly astonishing. You’d think someone would be aware that there would be some negative feedback and working damage control. But then, denying the facts has ever been quite the useful skill.

Oh well, time to donate a quick double sawbuck to Rob Miller!

I wanted them to lose. Sure, I wanted to gloat some. Finally get it through their thick fucking heads that they were not the majority!

I did not need for them to go barking mad.

That claim has since been revised. If you look at that page now, it concludes by saying:

"CORRECTION: He may still trail Democrat Rob Miller, who broke $1 million yesterday."You may also want to read the comments below that story to decide for yourself if Ben Smith can be trusted. A huge number of thoroughly-duped loons still believe that Obama lied!

I’m going to donate more to Miller soon. But be aware that a lot of scam sites are popping up pretending to support Miller and take your donations, only to either keep the money themselves or donate it to Wilson or the RNC.
