Could a chimp beat Tyson
The better question is who would bite off whose ear.
OMFG! I had no idea.
The idiot Magiver of today is actually an upgrade???
The words ‘Magiver’ and ‘upgrade’ should never be associated with each other in any form or fashion except negative.
And for achival purposes here is the post that I was referencing (since its in the pit, I think I can do a direct link without getting into trouble).
I think it stems from a total inability to admit error, so that rather than concede a point he just come up with more and more wild scenarios to justify his original claim.
Just by memory, he also never fessed up about thinking that Climate Science is a religion.
Related to that, how he never accepted that glaciers are receding.
That the rate of adoption of Electrical vehicles in a year does not slow down just because he just looks at the numbers from the early months in a year.
OMFG! is right.
There’s a reason why he has been accused of trolling many times; so many of his arguments and statements are so unbelievably stupid, it can be difficult to accept a person could sincerely think them, and it’s all a ruse.
I’m 100% serious about that too.
In my case, his stupidity (or trolling act to seem stupid) has led him to lie and/or misrepresent the points I’ve made so often that I had to put him on ignore because it was either that or go off on him and draw a warning. That’s why he has been on my ignore list longer than anyone else.
He provides nothing positive to the board. He could spam Viagra ads in every post and be about as useful.
I realise this board isn’t big on accusing other posters as being Russian assets, but manoman after reading that Ohio trans thread I can’t help but wonder whose side Magiver’s on.
That’s a big big piece of how he gets quite so far out on limbs. But if he made fewer gross errors to begin with he’d be less needful of climbing out to the twigs on quite so many limbs.
I think Magiver is on the side of whatever right wing talking point he most recently stumbled across and took to heart as gospel truth.
Can we replace them with Macgruber?
Given my druthers, I’d opt for McGuinn and McGuire – a twofer!!
You couldn’t get much higher!
Thus confirming what most of us already knew: in L.A., you really do know where it’s at
Is it just me, or is everybody getting fat? Except Mama Cass?
Oooooh, yeah.
And now he’s moving rapidly into “motorcycles on parachutes” mode. He thinks the police at the Capitol could just have teargassed the crowd and that there were officers in the building just standing by waiting for the order to do something.
Well, if the motorcycles released tear gas when they were under parachute it would waft down & rain teargas on the mob, then the motorcycles could land & leave tire marks on their backs as they’re bent over crying & rubbing their wittle eyes. What a way to subdue an unruly mob…unless, of course, it fell as the same rate as the parachuting motorcycle cops, in which case they’d immediately drop their bikes to wipe their eyes & be defenseless in the middle of an unruly mob.
Oh damn. You kids are all still responding to fucking @Magiver?
I find it easier to keep the proper amount of toilet paper on hand to clean up after him rather than wait for him to stop spewing his shit. Surely, even his Mum had a limit to how much of his crap she was willing to swallow.
In the FQ thread “Are pilots supposed to look both ways before crossing the runway?” the discussion turns to the subject of driving habits, specifically how alert are we when driving through green lights.
LSLGuy correctly and astutely points out that nothing in human task performance is 100% – because we’re human. Everyone who says they always look both ways before crossing an intersection indeed always does it – until they don’t. Every good driver knows these “errors of omission” are a constant risk, and does their best to mitigate them.
Well, except Magiver, who appears once again to regale us with his expertise. “Sorry, no” says our renowned expert on everything. As a driver, he has certain practices and he never fails to execute them. Not ever. Magiver thinks he understands human task performance much better than LSLGuy, a career airline pilot.
The guy thinks he’s infallible. Actually, the proper term is “insufferable”.
