Now we get that the fatal crash between Air Canada plane & ARFF truck at LGA wouldn’t have happened if we had put ‘school bus’ rules into place.
I’m sure that’s better than putting transponders in vehicles so that the automated systems would see them.
Perhaps the pilots of that Air Canada plane would have not hit the truck if it had just extended its “STOP” sign. School bus rules, you know?
This is why every aircraft needs motorcycles. So they can be deployed before, during, or after a flight for whatever jobs needs to be done
When I was a kid, my dad’s Piper Cherokee had a motorcycle. It was handy.

It’s actually a remarkable amount of restraint on his part. He’s just simply wrong in an uncharacteristic way. He made a short, disbelieving comment, and so far hasn’t pushed back against anyone who proved him wrong. This is almost worthy of applause coming from him.
Or he hasn’t had time to get around to insane doubling-down, crackpot theories, and lies about what other people said yet.

I have to admit my first reaction to the headline, not the article, was that it was a low pass over an airport with maybe a lazy climbout that scared some airport neighbors. The other possibility being just too unthinkable for a professional outfit like Icelandic.
