Last year, I posted my take below on his stance and he agreed with my take:
So, effectively, old people need to deal with the fact that we’re opening this shit up so that young people don’t go broke.
So the livelihood of a young person outweighs the life of an old person. He’s a fucked up piece of shit that would have happily culled a few million extra people as long as everyone who is lucky enough to live through this shit still can go to work and eat inside at a restaurant and then he has the fucking nerve of trying to score stupid juvenile political points and assigning deaths to Fauci. If we all had followed Fauci’s instructions, including his initial take on masks, hundreds of thousands of corpses would be alive today. If we had followed Magiver’s instructions, we’d probably have killed a multiple of the current death count.
I may have contributed to him vomiting all over the Rand Paul vs Fauci thread. He was originally excreting all over the Wuhan lab thread, so I linked to the Paul thread which had some interesting discussion on gain-of-function research which I thought he could read. Must have been too hard for him.
The lying sack of shit is simply trolling the hell out of that post now, and is apparently getting away with it, while others are being warned. It’s bullshit.
To be fair, he is the one that revived it to called Fauci a liar. He didn’t get an active thread shutdown. I’ve been booting that kind of crap out of threads. I can point to them if you want.
It is frankly impressive how @Magiver can dive headfirst into a lengthy discussion going into fine-grained detail on a specific subject, to the point where participants are metaphorically grabbing his head and pointing him directly at key facts and information, like a dog owner rubbing his pet’s nose in its feces, and he still seems constitutionally incapable of learning anything new, let alone perceiving that there is something new to learn, and blithely insists on carrying on with whatever dumb assumptions he originally brought in with him. I mean, it’s genuinely remarkable, in a sort of a “holy shit, would you look at that” kind of a way, like a man squatting over a bucket by the freeway and blandly dipping his balls in liquid nitrogen.
At the moment, for anyone not following the discussion, he is shitting up the Alec Baldwin thread. Come and enjoy the… whatever this is.
Exactly how he fucked up the covid threads referenced in the earlier part of this thread. Breathtakingly ignorant - Dunning Kruger personified. My user experience here improved tremendously once I put him on ignore for a few months. If you’re done playing with him, I’ll put him back on ignore (it was kinda fun to watch).
I want to say thank you to you and the other people who work in TV and movies for explaining clearly how guns are supposed to be handled on a set. It shut up a lot of people early on who just seemed to want Alec Baldwin drawn and quartered and I think it kept it from turning into yet another second amendment debate.
Of course there’s still plenty of “dipping your own balls in liquid nitrogen” to go around but it could always be worse.
What I find remarkable is the inconsistency with his own posts. It’s like he doesn’t even realize he’s contradicting himself, or that what he’s arguing in one post is different than what he argued previously. It’s like he completely forgot that what he was arguing was that some bad article had a point. He went from that to acting like regular gun safety mattered, to arguing that he was just saying that on-set safety procedures were clearly not followed.
It read to me like he said something dumb, and then would reach for anything to prove he was actually right, regardless of whether it had anything to do with what he originally said.
I almost replied to him several times saying that, but I was afraid I’d give him more ammunition.
