I did notice back in 2014 that he jumped to disparage me and the way I posted cites in climate change discussions, nothing has changed.

But seriously, Martin Hyde also showed a very common trait seen on many conservatives that looked normal and then are not able to stop following the misleading propaganda they consume that turns more unhinged as time goes by. As noted in the threads that led to this pitting, he makes a mountain of the idea that we are calling him a Nazi or a holocaust denier, that is not the case, we are noticing that he is mostly a jerk. And so far he is in the territory of obfuscating what real reprehensible people did in the past.
Sure, there is no direct defense of the evil doers, but it is a tactic of guys that would like to seed doubts about those bad people needing to face justice, or their victims get some reparations.
And in the past I did notice several posters that started first as climate change lukewarmers or deniers. Showing later as nativists, and then obfuscating efforts to seek justice for the victims and then showed up as complete fascists and then get banned, not much for the racist bit, but mostly because the jerk part becomes more prominent.
As I pointed to another long time conservative poster that is falling into the same rabbit hole in another thread, Martin is not in the last phases of that process but he is getting closer. It is time for him though to get other sources of information and stop being a jerk before it is really too late.
