I pit over-the-top Anti-Trump hysteria

Really?

Yes, really.

I feel we are at an impasse. I keep telling you what I think and you keep insisting that I’m really thinking something else.

But in the OP you say

So you’re fine with someone voting against Trump for a given reason, but you’re against them trying recruit new voters for the same reason?

What you think and what you wrote in your OP cannot be reconciled.

I’m okay with people believing things I don’t agree with - as long as they’re using that belief as a reason to vote against Trump and the Republicans.

And if people can use their beliefs to convince other people to join the cause of getting Trump and the Republicans out of power I’m okay with that.

I’m just saying I don’t want people to go around saying that accepting their beliefs is a requirement for opposing Trump and the Republicans.

So the only thing you will accept from me is a statement that you have been right and I have been wrong?

Which, IMHO, you have not provided even the slightest bit of evidence for.

The irony really escapes you, doesn’t it?

Yeah, it really does.

Pretty much the same way that invisible cat escapes me every morning.
Can irony that doesn’t exist ever be said to “escape”?

No, it’s not what I think you’re saying. But I think it’s what you should do.

Just out of curiosity, are there any positions an America-hating fuckstick opponent could espouse that would impel you to tell them to fuck right off?

Interesting question. Is there anything a person could say that would be worse than the things Trump is doing? I’m assuming the America-hating fuckstick opponent in question is also voting against Trump.

Offhand, I would say no. I feel Trump’s actions are worse than any words.

Let me throw it back to you. Do you feel there are things somebody could say that would be worse than the things the Trump administration is doing? (And to be clear; I’m talking about the words themselves, not the actions described by the words.)

Keep in mind, I’m not saying I approve of the words. There are plenty of things people could say that would offend me. But I stand by my position that defeating Trump and the Republicans is more important than me being offended.

Can a koan that hides confusion lead to enlightenment?

Can you either shit or get off the pot?

I’m not really interested in delving there, but I have a follow-up. What is it you hope to learn when continuing to ask questions of a person who has already told you that they oppose and plan to vote against the America-hating fuckstick?

I’m interested in hearing other people’s opinions on this topic.

Since I don’t believe anybody in this thread has been doing that, you may wait a long time for an answer.

Bigots often make their opinions known without anyone having to ask them. In fact, if bigots never let their bigoted opinions be known unless they were interrogated on the subject, they’d be a lot less of a problem.

When after the mid-terms we can finaly impeach and convict him. The reason should be - “Well, everything”

That man he shot in the middle of Fifth Avenue back in 2016 will finally have his justice.

So, since he did not shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue, he should be OK?

Although he did try to overthrow the government of the USA. That’s kinda a sticking point for me. Well, and rape, bigotry and racism.

That’s why I said ‘Impeach him for Everything’. I’d make a list but I have some stuff to do tomorrow.
