I knew I got the spelling right and that was fine for me. I hadn’t thought to check for possible plurals.
Huh. I always thought the plural of ellipsis was just, you know, adding more dots.
Actually, from Ethilrist’s examples (thank you), and looking at other titles, it seems to me that there isn’t much correlation between using ellipses in thread titles and using elliptical (har!) thread titles. Most of the ones noted are at least as descriptive as a random sample of conventionally-punctuated openers. It’s just a slightly-overused affectation, like stuffing every post with commas, parentheses and (my favorite) italics, even where they’re not strictly necessary.
Am I missing something?

Not only is it nonsense, and not only does it not really clarify what he thinks he’s debating (you never know with him anyway), but it has too many capitals. And the kicker is that it’s so ridiculously long that he ran out of room and deleted the spaces after the question marks. And there’s still an ellipsis. It’s enough to make your head explode.
