If you mean this post, I might point out that the Doper who wrote it is something of a mischievous bastard, known for throwing pebbles at sleeping grizzlies when other people are within clawing distance of said ursine. I would not be surprised to learn that originally wrote miserly and then changed it to niggardly to see what would happen.
