Yep.
(and some characters)
Never mind.
You know what? I apologize. As a 9/11 truther, you’re obviously mentally incapable of understanding the points people here are making, or even the reasons people may be upset with you. I’ll leave you unmolested in your ignorance.
Damn, a 23 post thread on the SBMB . . . will BLM stop at nothing?
BLM Posts Matter
It’s terrible how BLM forced us to point out the myriad ways in which his claims about the Chauvin juror were fundamentally wrong.
Ah, so you are not conservative, merely stupid. Good to know.
This board cares about fighting ignorance. You were shown repeatedly that your assertions were incorrect. We found exactly what the guy said, and showed that he didn’t at any point lie.
If you’d then withdrawn your claim, saying you had just read about the possibility, no one would have pitted you. But doubling down because you hate some organization, and argue that they’ve somehow gotten to us?
That’s conspiracy theorist thinking. It shows an immunity to facts. Of course that would get you pitted here: you’ve said there’s no longer any point in arguing with you.
Which, of course, splits is.
Black Lives Matter, bullshit lies do not.
That’s right up there with “I’m an independent, and I did not vote for Donald Trump!”. SUUUUUUUUUUUURE you didn’t.
I’m upstate NY so I’ve known about con man Trump for 30 years. Of course I did not vote for him, he is a known con man for years around these parts.
I’m not going to let this pitting, underserved as it is, drive me away from this board. I have found lots of useful information here.
After seeing some of the initial response to the latest news that it’s looking like the virus was created in a lab, I can see anything I say on these kind of topics are a lost cause on this board, and trust me I could really go in to how bad this is.
Keep handwaving people.
You know you can always read the information without posting. I started out as a lurker.
I lurk too, but sometimes I just have to respond. I’ll really started posting when I got informed about 9/11, but I was lurking before that.
Nothing you have said addresses any of the complaints anyone has of you. And you don’t even seem to know what “handwaving” means, as that’s what you’re doing. You’re the one trying to ignore all the complaints–waving them away.
You, due to your own biases, continued arguing your own reality in the face of contrary evidence. You continue to seem to want to create your own reality, even of what’s going on in this thread, bringing up things that have nothing to do with why you were pitted.
You spread false information about one of the Chauvin jurors. That’s okay—we all make mistakes. You thought it was true when you reported it. But, when the facts showed you were wrong, you doubled down. And no matter how many facts you were shown, you continued to double down.
This board has never been one to tolerate willful, obstinate ignorance.
That’s not what the news says. That’s why people aren’t happy with your contributions. There is some speculation that the infection may have come from a lab, but that’s not the same as saying it was created, especially as a bioweapon. If my cousin sneezed on me and I caught a cold I could say that it “came from my cousin” but that doesn’t mean my cousin spliced a rhinovirus in a laboratory in his basement. It just meant he didn’t cover his mouth when he sneezed. What is being investigated (not concluded, so you can’t say “it’s looking like” it is the truth) is whether scientists studying the virus in bats might have leaked it and started the outbreak. This is based on new information about people in the lab possibly contracting the virus prior to the outbreak, and subsequently covering it up. (Again, not proven yet, it is being investigated.)
But I’m guessing that doesn’t fit the conclusion you’ve previously drawn and you are unsatisfied that we’re not all falling in line with your conspiracy theory.
I’m not recanting my post on the Chauvin trial until it’s done. It may be out of the news now, but it’s not over and we will see what happens in the end. I did not spread false information. That juror was a BLM supporter. He clearly lied about the extent of his involvement.
The verdict will almost certainty be turned over because of that picture of that lying juror.
I’m not saying it was a bio-weapon, and that really doesn’t matter anyway. The fact is we have people and nations with so much money and resources that they can do whatever they want. They see themselves as gods.
You seem to think that best intentions are the normal, so anything bad that comes from them must be good, or at least have good intentions. The whole they were just playing around with this virus to help us all thing.
I don’t live in that world.
Oh no. I think what is being alleged is pretty shitty. I think what the consensus previously was that China did was pretty shitty. They did not have good intentions. They downplayed what was going on to save face internationally until things got out of hand then spread everywhere. Personally, I cut them no slack. And if this whole thing started because they were careless with their laboratory and let a dangerous virus get out and impact the entire world, if proven I hope there are severe sanctions.
But that doesn’t mean it was created in a lab. Early on the virus didn’t show any of the signs that it was lab-created. The conspiracy theory about this being a man-made bioweapon that China created is just as much bullshit now as it was a year ago, and requires you to declare that you know better than the disease experts who studied it.
Let me give you a hypothetical situation. Let’s say that someone was found dead outside of a hotel. Indications are that they fell to death. It’s also well-known that there was a violent criminal who had threatened that person beforehand. Medical examiners claim that death was caused by a fall from a great height.
Now let’s say that others insist that the person was beaten to death by the criminal and that the fall was a cover-up. An autopsy rules out that possibility, but it doesn’t matter, they still insist it to be the case, and that the authorities were covering it up for some reason. If I were to believe the medical examiners, then does that mean I must believe that the violent criminal was incapable of murder? No, I could still think he’s capable of it, it’s just that the evidence suggests that the conspiracy theory is fantasy (as conspiracy theories inevitably are).
Now if later someone turns up camera footage showing that the criminal was at the hotel around the time of the death, then it opens the possibility that he pushed the victim, or chased him to his death, or any other number of scenarios. It’s absolutely worth investigating. It doesn’t lend any more credence to the suggestion that he beat the victim and doesn’t in any way vindicate the conspiracy theorists.
Does that make sense?
We are being sy-oped with and have been for at least my whole life
Psychological operations are a fact, and have been formally deployed throughout the world for at least a century. There is evidence that Russia in particular has been engaging in them against US citizens pretty extensively of late. That shouldn’t in any way diminish skepticism toward unlikely or impossible conspiracy theories, however.
