He looks like a composite sketch.
Good. I can sleep better at night.
It’s not fun knowing that you share a neighborhood with a Jew-hating psycho. I feel ill knowing that there’s a chance I was within a few blocks of one of the shuls he targeted while he was there.
May he light a cig next to a gas leak.
This is very bizarre. Italian-Americans typically are pretty friendly with Jews, and vice-versa. Sure, there is some ball-busting back and forth, but it’s rarely hateful. And there’s some Catholic-school-kids vs. Jewish kids religious-based bullying, but it rarely lasts past childhood. In the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens where my East Coast family came from, the Italians and the Jews are thoroughly mixed together. Their families all grew up together and worked together.
Rabbi Meir Kahane, the controversial Jewish leader who preached an aggressive form of identity and self-defense in the 70s, enjoyed tremendous support among Italian-Americans and he was tight with Joseph Columbo and the Italian American anti-defamation league.
(Most of these neighborhoods are changing towards Asians today, and are losing their Italian/Jewish identity, but they definitely retain some of the original inhabitants.)
You lost me on that.
Yeah, and Nazis probably have really high UMD checks. I mean they’re always futzing around with this or that holy artifact.
I live there. It’s actually a pretty nice place to live.
I’m glad they caught the guy.
