It’s NHL playoff hockey. Anything can happen. I’m a Hawks fan, but this series could have gone to the Ducks. There were a lot of hard-fought wins in there, and a bounce here or an inch there, and it could have been the Ducks in the finals. So, no, I’m absolutely not taking it as a given that the Hawks are going to steamroll their way through the finals. Not at all. But the way they’ve been playing the last two games, it’s encouraging.

My only regret is the Da Haks didn’t advance to the final in Chicago, on a weeknight. Or, even better, a weeknight right during ponch8’s commute.
The Blackhawks are in cap hell after this season. Enjoy it now - they will not look the same next year.

Most of the Blackhawks fans I see are total bandwagon jumpers. And I’m still pissed about their two or three players going over to a section of the ice to raise their sticks in appreciation of fans coming to watch them in an away game. On enemy ice?? That’s beyond rude.
In that case, keep the “Mighty”, lose the “Ducks.”
