I pity the fool who thinks this is a good idea

Nowadays? You mean the gap between the “reasonably attractive woman” and the “horrible, shambling thing” has actually widened? :eek:

What about M A S H: the TV series movie.

They should make a movie with illiterates playing “Wheel of Fortune”! I honestly saw one puzzle where the people struggled to complete “INDEPENDENT_ _ OWNED AND OPERATED” lol You can imagine my amazement as one lady guessed “H”. WTF is wrong with people?

You guys can’t tell anybody about this because I am telling you in strictest confidence…

a friend of mine who work in the industry says that negotiations have begun to produce a Three’s Company movie.

Dukes of Hazard was too a classic. I called my brother a dipstick for years, purely based on what I learnt from that programme…and ya don’t want to know what I called him after that!
We will scrape the bottom of the barrel when they remake two programmes I’m ashamed to say I LOVED “B.J and the bear” and “3 for the road” ekkkkkkkkkk I’m sorry.
I do think Robin Williams should jump on the remake bandwagon and bring back Mork though. Be free little shazbots.

Oh and don’t say nothing nasty about Magnum…I’m marrying him when I grow up.:smiley:

I will not rest until I see a multi-million dollar movie version of “Jennifer Slept Here.”

All right, maybe I will.

If they make a “Dukes of Hazard” movie, maybe they can make an “Enos” movie too.

As far as a Dukes of Hazzard movie is concerned, I have just one word to say, Daisy Duke. I’ll watch it. You bet I’ll watch it.

I’ve recognized every TV series mentioned in this thread except his one. Was it very short lived or was it on the year I was stoned? What? It was on for 6 seasons? What a long strange trip it’s been.

Another vote for “Dukes of Hazzard” was a classic.

That being said…I am not sure I’d like to see a new cast, and the old cast is kinda well…old…

Britney Spears as Daisy Duke?!?! Hell no. If that happens, I boycott the movie.

Crap. That’s my post up there, not Shannara’s. Didn’t even realize she was the one logged on.

I loved the A-Team and would certainly watch a movie. If they kept the original cast. No one else can play Murdoch.

No they can’t.

In all of the ‘Name My Baby’ threads no one has ever mentions the name ‘Enos’. Has anyone ever been named Enos or was that name just made up for the show?

That show was very funny and allowed us to see what Yeardly Smith looks like. Lisa Simpson became warmer to me after seeing her on Inside Herman’s Head(first seasont title).

Ragsdale can be a helluva lot of fun to watch, especially in Fright Night. What was he like in high school.

Sorry. No one in the world remembers “Jennifer Slept Here” but me. It was on for a single season in 1983, and had this annoying theme song that, for no good reason, has stuck in my head for twenty years. It was very, very stupid, so much so that I think I realized it even at the tender age of 10. And my family watched it every… single… week.

It was about a wholesome family that bought a house haunted by the spirit of an intensely annoying dead movie star that only the pubescent son could see. Wackiness ensues.

Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 1

To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish’d. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there’s the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there’s the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor’s wrong, the proud man’s contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law’s delay,
The insolence of office and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscover’d country from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o’er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action

Generally speaking, us brits have two types of conservative. That is conservative, and Conservative. Conservative with a capital refers to the political movement, where as conservative (lower case) refers to being unwilling to take risks, taking the path well travelled, that kind of thing.

Probably due to us having a political party called the Conservatives.

Hall-of-Famer Enos Slaughter

Ah, 1983, that explains it. I got my first real job at the end of 1983. Before that, for a few years, things were kind of fuzzy…

So, no one is expecting ‘Jennifer Slept Here - The Movie’ anytime soon?
