I’m still getting my ass kicked. I’ve been bounced around from municipal to county court and back again. A judge who has an IQ in the double digits got the case and she’s kicked it to arbitration. I still haven’t been formally indicted for anything.
I’m not officially working yet, but I’ve always been willing to do (legal) things for people and accept money as a “thank you.”
Well, double digits or not, that’s the business end of the Federal Arbitration Act. Do you have a lawyer or are you trying to pull a Stoid?
Wait–am I reading it correctly that they’re still having you under suspicion for the theft of $5,000?

WOW! Thanks to everyone for their continued interest in this.
The case was thrown out as a “she said/she said” with no real evidence. The female judge said it was ridiculous and refered me to some government help for counselling and employment.
Again, thanks to all. Hopefully, my life will be back on track by the end of the year.
